Trent Patterson Studio Gaming

About TPSG

An indie studio that loves making quality game experiences — with the soul of the 80s and 90s.

The Studio

TPSG started in 2014 when Trent Patterson put up a site to share screenshots of games he was building. The short name stuck. The work never stopped.

Based out of Reno, Nevada, the studio is still small and hands-on. Over the years Trent has brought in other developers to help ship bigger worlds — including the PS1-style adventure Thrack the Fox.

The focus is simple: games that feel like they could have lived in an arcade cabinet or on a dusty console shelf, built with modern tools and released on the platforms players actually use.

▶ What We Believe

Retro

Feel first

Pixel art, low-poly PS1 style, CRT glow, arcade cabinets. New games should feel like they dropped in the 80s or 90s — without the clutter of a 90s webpage.

Catalog

One hub, every game

The Gaming Hub is built so current titles and future ones — including physical media for classic systems — all live in the same place.

Players

Mods & community

Players should be able to talk, post scores, and eventually sell their own mods. The studio stays small. The catalog does not have to.
